Meet Your 2023-2024 State Officers
Reagan FraseState PresidentReagan Frase is a rising senior at South Gibson County High School and is a three-year member of FBLA. She started her FBLA journey during her freshman year, served as her chapter’s Vice President as a sophomore, and currently serves as President. Throughout her time in FBLA, Reagan has participated in various competitions such as Introduction to Business Communication, Introduction to Event Planning, and Human Resource Management. She has also completed multiple levels of the Business Achievement Awards. She enjoys leading her fellow FBLA members and officers through FBLA-related functions, meetings, fundraisers, recruiting events, and much more!
Outside of FBLA, Reagan plays tennis, pickleball, trumpet, and is a member of BETA. In her free time, Reagan loves to read, hang out with friends, play tennis or pickleball, and listen to music. Reagan’s plans for office include increasing excitement in FBLA events, encouraging members to give back to their communities, and helping to expand the Tennessee FBLA program. Reagan looks forward to working with her officer team to create a fantastic year for FBLA, as well as the opportunity to meet so many new people! |
Carson BlevinsState Vice PresidentCarson Blevins is an upcoming senior at Polk County High School and has been an FBLA member for three years. She is ready to embark on this new journey within the organization. She is always looking for new ways to engage in leadership positions and better the organizations she is a part of. She has served as her local chapter’s vice-president and secretary and is her school’s first state officer. She is a three year state competitor and has placed in the top eight of her competition each year.
Outside of FBLA, Carson is a part of BETA, National Honors Society, cheer, and martial arts. She enjoys reading, learning, volunteering, and meeting new people. Carson is beyond excited to serve as this year’s State Vice President and help Tennessee FBLA prosper. |
Cadence LogueState SecretaryCadence Logue is an upcoming Junior at Lebanon High School. She has been in FBLA for 2 years. Her FBLA journey began her freshman year when she attended Watertown High School. After she attended the State Leadership Conference, she fell in love with the organization. Cadence has competed in the Introduction to Business Presentation twice, and participated in workshops at the state and national level. Her first FBLA leadership role was with her local chapter as Secretary, and she is excited for the opportunity to serve as the state Secretary. She has helped with many fundraisers, and has mentored her peers to help them reach both FBLA and personal goals. She has also aided in the development of multiple middle level chapters in her county. Cadence’s favorite part about FBLA is the networking opportunities and the career preparation it provides its members.
Outside of FBLA, Cadence enjoys singing in her school choir, competing with her acapella group in different competitions, and playing softball for the Lady Devils. She also participates in HOSA and the National Honors Society. She has a love for riding horses and reading. Cadence is very excited for everything that this year has in store! |
Jakobe SmithState TreasurerJakobe Smith is a Rising Senior at Covington High School and is a lover of all things business. He started his FBLA journey his 10th grade year and is excited to continue his journey at the next level as a State Officer.
Ever since he was five, he had been immersed in the business and finance world. His mother has worked in the field for 20 years, and he has worked closely with her. Jakobe's goals for FBLA are to show people that business can be, and is, fun, and not just black and white. He wants to start more middle level chapters in the west because there are not many there. Over the years, Jakobe has grown his love for music and theater as well. He first joined the band in fifth grade, and has now risen to become his high school Drum Major. After high school, Jakobe wants to pursue a Bachelors in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting. Then, he plans to pursue his MBA and start his own tax firm! |
Emily ShepherdState WebmasterEmily Shepherd is a rising senior at Stewart County High School in Dover, Tennessee. She is an active member of FBLA, and has served on her chapter’s officer team since her freshman year. She currently serves as Vice President for Stewart County FBLA. She has competed at the state level and has placed all three years. Last year, she even competed nationally in Chicago. She is known for her great leadership and communication skills while simultaneously adding a little fun to everything she does!
If you can't find Emily, she is probably on the soccer field. She has been playing for 13 years, and is currently on a D1 travel team in Clarksville, Tennessee. She also enjoys helping kids in her local soccer club development program. She spends her weekends on the field, hanging out with friends, listening to music, trying to go viral on TikTok, or at a fun new restaurant her mom found on Facebook! Emily is also a fanatic with word searches, and tells the most cringy dad jokes! |
Alyssa TempletonState ReporterAlyssa Templeton is a part of the class of 2025 at Lincoln County High School. She has been a part of FBLA since the beginning of her freshman year. She is the secretary of her school’s FBLA chapter. Her freshman year, she served as her chapter’s freshman representative on the officer team. The past two years, she has attended the Leadership Academy at state convention.
Outside of FBLA, Alyssa dances, and is on the Lincoln County High School Dance Team. After high school, Alyssa plans on getting a bachelor’s degree in business. |
