Scholarships
Tennessee FBLA recognizes the achievements and potential of our members through a variety of scholarship opportunities. These awards honor students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, involvement, and commitment to FBLA and their chosen career pathway. Each scholarship serves as an investment in the future of Tennessee's student leaders, helping them pursue their educational and professional goals.
Jared Bryant Scholarship
Application Deadline: March 6, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. CT
Scholarship Amount: $500
Eligibility: Applicant plans to attend a one- or two-year technical or community college.
Evaluation Criteria: Applications will be evaluated on seven aspects: FBLA involvement, realistic planning for a business career, financial need, related employment, involvement in other school/community activities, knowledge/skills gained from related courses, and overall application.
Andy Vanosdale Technology Scholarship
This scholarship was established by former state officer Mr. Andy Vanosdale to support exceptional FBLA students who demonstrate innovative use of technology in their chosen career paths.
Application Deadline: March 6, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. CT
Scholarship Amount: $2,500
Eligibility: Applicant plans to attend a four-year college program in an engineering/computer science field.
Evaluation Criteria: Applications will be evaluated on seven aspects: FBLA involvement, realistic planning for a business career, financial need, related employment, involvement in other school/community activities, knowledge/skills gained from related courses, and overall application.
Dr. Bill Radcliff Regional Scholarship
Dr. Radcliff, a dedicated professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, generously gave his time and expertise to support FBLA. In his memory, this scholarship is awarded to one outstanding FBLA member from each Tennessee FBLA region.
Application Deadline: March 6, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. CT
Scholarship Amount:
Four (4) regional winners: $500 one-time award
One (1) overall state winner: $500 one-time award
Eligibility: Current FBLA senior who plans to attend a postsecondary institution.
Evaluation Criteria: Applications will be evaluated on seven aspects: FBLA involvement, realistic planning for a business career, financial need, related employment, involvement in other school/community activities, knowledge/skills gained from related courses, and overall application.
