Cadence Logue
State PresidentCadence Logue is an upcoming senior at Lebanon High School, but her FBLA journey began her freshman year when she attended Watertown High School. After she attended the State Leadership Conference, she fell in love with the organization. Cadence has been a Chapter Officer since her sophomore year and served as the 2023-2024 State Secretary! Cadence has competed in the Introduction to Business Presentation twice, Website Design once, and participated in workshops at the state and national leadership conferences. Cadence has also placed at both the state and national level. She has helped with many fundraisers, and has mentored her peers to help them reach both their FBLA and personal goals. She has also aided in the development of multiple middle level chapters in her county. Cadence’s favorite part about FBLA is the networking opportunities and the career preparation it provides its members. Cadence is beyond excited to serve as Tennessee FBLA State President!
Outside of FBLA, Cadence enjoys singing in her school choir, competing with her acapella group in different competitions, and throwing for track and field events! She also participates in HOSA and the National Honors Society. She has a love for riding horses and reading. Cadence is excited for everything that this year has in store! |
Luke ElkinsState Vice PresidentLuke Elkins is an upcoming senior at Stewart County High School and is a three-year member of FBLA. For the past three years, he has been an active member of Stewart County FBLA and is currently serving as the chapter's Vice President of Community Service. As Vice President of his high school chapter, Luke has helped with many community service projects, workshops, and even holiday parties for the chapter members. He has competed at both the state and national level and began his competitive journey by competing in Introduction to Business Presentation his freshman year. After competing in Chicago at the FBLA National Conference, he gained the confidence to pursue his entrepreneurship dream and start his own fishing lure business.
Outside of FBLA, you can often find Luke out on the water. He is a high school competitive bass fisherman and is a member of the fishing team at Stewart County High School. Besides the fishing team, Luke is also a member of BETA Club, Spanish Club, Math Club, and FCCLA. He also loves playing the guitar, listening to music and podcasts, and running. Luke is looking forward to using his leadership skills to serve Tennessee FBLA to the best of his ability throughout the upcoming year! |
Alyssa TempletonState SecretaryAlyssa Templeton is an upcoming senior at Lincoln County High School in Fayetteville, Tennessee. She is an active member of FBLA, and has served on her chapter’s officer team since her freshman year. She also served as the Tennessee State Reporter on Team 71. She is excited to serve with Team 72 and create exciting new initiatives to promote the goals and mission of this amazing organization.
Outside of FBLA, Alyssa enjoys dance! She is a student at Alabama Youth Ballet. She is also a tumbling coach and dance teacher at Magic Athletics. After high school, Alyssa plans to pursue a degree in business. |
Liza FreezeState TreasurerLiza Freeze is an upcoming senior at Coffee County Central High School. She is an active member of FBLA, and has been involved since she was 11. She is currently the Chapter President within Coffee County FBLA. She has gone to every possible National Leadership Conference since her sixth grade year, her favorite being in Chicago, Illinois. Liza’s favorite competition to participate in is Public Speaking. Even through her hobbies, Liza uses her publicly speaking skills, communication skills, and leadership skills that she has gained from FBLA. She loves anything and everything FBLA related!
Outside of FBLA, Liza can be found performing for the theater or singing in her community. She loves to perform, especially at Manchester Arts Center, South Jackson Performing Arts Center, and for her school theater program! She has performed for 13 years, participating in her first show at only three years old! Liza can also be found reading any day, every day. She loves classic novels, Pride and Prejudice being her favorite. Her favorite authors include Jane Austen and Luisa May Alcott. Liza is so excited for what is in store this upcoming year, and she is so grateful and honored for this opportunity to serve Tennessee FBLA! |
Addison LoftonState ReporterAddison Lofton is a rising junior at South Gibson County High School and is a two-year member of FBLA. She started her FBLA journey during her freshman year, where she served as her chapter’s Secretary. She now serves as Underclassmen Vice President! Throughout her time in FBLA, Addison has participated in many competitions, such as Business Law, Introduction to Business Communication, and Introduction to FBLA. She also participated in the Leadership Academy and served as a Voting Delegate during her freshman year at the State Leadership Conference. She has completed multiple levels of the Business Achievement Awards. She enjoys participating and networking with fellow FBLA members and officers at FBLA-related functions, fundraisers, meetings, and more!
Outside of FBLA, Addison participates in her school’s peer-tutoring program, theater club, and is a member of BETA. Addison enjoys reading, hanging out with friends, listening to music, and meeting new people in her free time. Addison’s goals while she is in office include expanding Tennessee FBLA's middle-level division and building more excitement for all FBLA events. Addison is beyond excited to serve as this year's State Reporter and looks forward to working with her officer team to create a fantastic year for FBLA! |
Addison YatesState WebmasterAddison Yates is an upcoming senior at East Robertson High School and has been an FBLA member for three years. She has served as her chapter’s Treasurer her sophomore year, and now serves as Chapter President. She is excited for this opportunity to advance her leadership and share her passion for FBLA. Since her freshman year, Addison has attended two State Leadership Conferences, and participated in many competitions, including Introduction to Information Technology, Computer Applications, and Marketing. During her term as an officer, Addison hopes to increase membership and participation, similarly to how she has done within her local chapter.
Outside of FBLA, Addison is a member of BETA, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, HOSA, and cheer. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and listening to classic rock. She also loves participating in service projects, and working to make these projects successful! Addison is excited to serve as this year’s State Webmaster and help grow Tennessee FBLA! |
